Here’s why it is never too late to start working on your body.

I had a session with a very interesting person who wasn’t interested in exercising or physical activities. On top of it, the last place in the whole world she wanted to be was sitting face-to-face with me and having a conversation about her health, body, and exercise. The only reason why she came to see me was because her daughter had made her (literally forced her) to see me so we could have a “little chat.” So, what was the issue? She was reaching her 60s, and she had almost never worked out in her entire life. When I asked her why she doesn’t like to exercise, she replied, “I have better and more important things to do in my life. Besides, there is nothing I could change at this point.”

Ana was 50 pounds overweight, and she had high blood pressure and high cholesterol issues. At her latest check-up, the doctor told her that her blood results came out as pre-diabetic. And that is why her daughter had finally decided it was time for Ana to do something. So, her daughter bought a series of Pilates classes for Ana. Ana came for the first class, but I could tell she hated every minute of it. After that, I didn’t see her for three months, so I called her daughter to tell her that I felt badly that she had paid for the classes since Ana was not showing up.
