What I would do differently if I could go back to my 20–30s

As a fitness coach, I would say these seven things to myself when I was 30 years younger and trying so hard to shape my body.

I was talking to my college-age daughter who, like many other daughters, likes to complain. I have found that when we try to give them advice, however, they argue and defend the very situation about which they were complaining only minutes ago!

My daughter complains about how difficult it is in college to eat healthy food and follow a healthy lifestyle — get enough sleep, exercise, take care of her body, and look cute on the college campus.

I must admit that I smile as I listen to my daughter, because she is going through those very same obstacles which I went through at such a young age — and she is making the same mistakes.

However, as I always tell her, my clients pay lots of money for my advice, and she has it for free.

So, in this article, I want to share seven things I wish I had known when I was trying so hard to keep my body in perfect shape.
