Before I begin, I have a fun trivia question for you.

Wondering if you can transform your body even after 40’s? The answer is a big YES! Here you’ll find out the best way to do this!

In order to live life to its fullest (in other words, to create a life of health, joy, peace, and prosperity), you need to be financially independent, loving and respectful of your body, and generous with your love, faith, and talents (service, work, business).

That is why, when I talk about taking care of our bodies, I like to compare it to “building our Empire,” because every day of eating healthy, working out, resting, and recharging is an investment in our Empire.

How big is your Empire today? Have you been investing enough for your retirement? Do you keep your body healthy and strong to fully enjoy your well-deserved retirement?

I know that awful feeling of being in such big debt that you don’t even want to look at your bank statement and your credit card statements because it just hurts. And the same is true for some people when they’re thinking about getting into shape because it seems like an unrealistic goal after so many years of not working out and not choosing the healthiest foods to eat.

But do you want to live the rest of your life controlled by your “debt” by the body you hate?

Here are the 4 tips to transform yourself for getting the body you want (a.k.a. create your Empire), regardless of how much “debt” you are in:

Stop the Bleeding/Spending

You won’t be able to turn your account from negative to positive in just one day. Still, the most important thing is to stop digging yourself into a deeper financial hole by cutting down on the biggest unnecessary spending items.

The same applies to getting your body into shape. Cut down on the foods that have the highest caloric value and replace them with fat burning foods or weightloss foods. If you eliminate these “calorie suckers” even once or twice a week and start walking (or doing any physical activity) 2–3 times/week for 30 minutes each session…this will stop the bleeding.

Seal Up the Leaks

This means cutting out even more, or all unnecessary, spending from your financial budget. For your body, it means cutting down even more (or completely avoiding) unhealthy foods and adding 1–2 sessions/week of working out, yoga, pilates, any type of resistance workout that builds muscle.

But the most important thing is to get the emotional spending under control, which means (for your Heavenly Body) separating the life issues/problems from food. This is huge, and once you can do it, this will seal the account completely and there will be no more going deeper into debt, but rather, you will begin climbing up out of your debt hole, which means no more uncontrollable weight gain.

Be Proactive and Preventative

This means looking ahead, staying away from any unnecessary spending, and figuring out how to save money on necessary spending. For creating your Heavenly Body means planning ahead for healthy eating and setting up your exercise as a “non-negotiable” in your daily schedule.

Saving and Investing

Now, when you are getting out of debt, you can start saving and investing money to create your Empire. By now, creating your Heavenly Body is set on autopilot; you don’t have to struggle to eat healthily and exercise because it comes easily and automatically, and that frees you up to focus on creating the life you want, to work on your dreams, talents, business, relationships, family…you become CEO of your body, mind, & soul.

Eventually, you become CEO of your Empire/Life!

The practical ‘CEO’ Technique to Create a Calorie Deficit

Let’s face it: sometimes, certain facts don’t “click on” in our brains the first time, the second time, or even the first several times, until we see them from a completely different angle. Therefore, this Bonus is an invitation for you to see losing weight from the angle of creating a calorie deficit.

Since I love the term “CEO Woman” (Centered, Empowered, Original), I’ll continue CEO-themed analogies for creating your desired body. One of my “getting into shape” analogies is being a “Food Snob” and suggesting that, before you put anything into your body, you should ask the question:

“What am I getting out of this? Will this benefit my Empire/business?”

Because you see, as a successful CEO, you always, always want to grow your business, which means cultivating your Healthy Heavenly Body and Lifestyle.

However, there is one area of your Heavenly business where, instead of profit, you actually need to create a deficit if you want to lose weight. No matter which kind of diet or exercise program you follow, at the end of the day, if you don’t create a healthy calorie deficit (I am not talking about starving), the body won’t lose weight — and that’s a FACT.

That’s why so many people become frustrated because they adopt healthy eating habits and yet they don’t help in weight loss.

Here is a simple breakdown of Calories IN and Calories OUT!

Calories IN:

Regular meals — breakfast, lunch, dinner

Snacks in the car or office desk (or both): Small snacks, fruit, bars, nuts, a bag of chips, pretzels, favorite candies…

Liquid: Fruit juices, shakes, alcohol, green juices, sports drinks, Coke, Dr. Pepper…

Reward food: Desserts, ice cream

At the end of the day, every calorie counts. It doesn’t matter if it comes from healthy food or unhealthy food, regular meal or snacks, solid food or liquid. A calorie is a calorie.

Calories OUT:

Cardio exercise: Walking, running, biking, hiking, dancing, and also sports like soccer, tennis, or basketball are the best forms of body calorie expenditure; the more you sweat, the more “calories” you’ll rack up.

Weight or resistance workouts: Weightlifting, Pilates, yoga. Although you burn more stored fat by doing cardio exercise, it is essential to do weightlifting and build your muscles, too. A body with more muscle mass burns twice as many calories as a body without muscle mass.

When you are looking at your actual business account at the end of the month, the most important factor in business growth is how much money came IN and how much money went OUT; if you add up those two numbers, your answer needs to be a positive number in order for the business to grow.

Well, losing weight is similar, but just the opposite: you want less IN and more OUT, so you get a negative number as your answer at the end of the day.

Baby Steps Can Help You Level-Up Your Weightloss Game with Time!

On the first level (I call it the reality level — no tricks, no shortcuts, and no cheating because you can’t trick the numbers), it doesn’t matter where the calories come from (healthy or unhealthy food). It is simply all about the numbers.

On the second level, and here comes a Food Snob CEO — you don’t want to consume just any calories; you want calories with benefits: vitamins, minerals, fibers, antioxidants, protein, etc.

So, does it really matter whether you eat healthy or unhealthy food? If I want to be CEO honest, I will tell you “No, and Yes.” On the first level, if you want to just lose weight, it doesn’t matter: it is all about the numbers.

However, if you want to create your Empire and business, then YES, it does matter if your calories come from healthy food because you don’t want your business to go through bankruptcy after the first year, right!? 😉

Wrapping Up

The Roman Empire wasn’t built in one day (and neither will your Empire be), but there will never be an Empire without a starting point. Caesar didn’t wait for the right or the most convenient time to start. He started at that very moment!
