To Lose Weight You Must be Happy

It is hard to lose weight if you can’t make yourself happy.

I am a true believer that the shape, health, and wellness of our bodies reflect the mental world in which we live. I have seen this firsthand in my Pilates group classes and also in coaching personal clients. Members and clients with happier personalities, positive views, compassion for others, and most of all, a great sense of humor, have reached their personal body weight and wellness goals much more quickly than the members who are struggling to find happiness. No matter how hard I try to bring a smile to their faces during the class, my unhappy group members seem unable let go of the discontent they have already brought to the class. Compassion

I am always fascinated by stories of well-aged people. I am curious about how they have been able to successfully reach their golden age and beyond with mind and body in great shape.
