When it comes to your body, know your business before you settle for the cheap stuff, please!

In this post, I would like to share some behind-the-scenes information to save you time, money, and frustration while improving your health and losing weight. This advice applies whether you’re trying to shed some inches from your thighs, flatten your belly, or build up your “Kardashian behind.” My mantra has always been, “Get to the source or the root cause.” That means learning and trying to understand the process, cause, and effect of everything you want to change. For example, my son’s AC in his car was making a strange noise and emitting a suspicious smell. Instead of trying to fix it (or at least telling me about it so we could fix it together), he bought an air freshener to take care of the smell and turned his music louder to take care of the noise. I know, I can hear your laughter. However, it sounds comical, and yet we all act the same way when it comes to our bodies. When our hair starts thinning or falling out, we get hair extensions; when our nails keep breaking, we get fake nails. When a menopausal woman keeps gaining weight, even while she is barely eating anything, she gets on Ozempic (a weight loss drug). Isn’t that pretty much what my son did with his car situation?
